Atrocity is in the eye of the beholder
"Genius" "Stunningly brilliant" "Can't wait to see more" "Hilarious" "Thank you"
Those are just a few of the comments posted on a Flickr stream dedicated to the Decapitator. Here are a few more:
"She deserved it" "Love the Jack the Ripper style" "That was the least important part of her body"
Charming.
Wired calls him a renegade artist and culture-jammer. That's one way of putting it. Fucked up misogynist prone to homicidal fantasies might be another.
In all the articles I've read, we seem to be the only ones who've noticed he targets women over men by a five to one ratio. Neither does anyone mention that, in an ad with both sexes, he decapitates a woman and leaves the men untouched. Perhaps, as acknowledged tools of the establishment, we're simply unable to appreciate this stunningly brilliant work of renegade art.
Let's put it to the test! First, tell a high school guidance counselor you found the above photos in a student's book bag and see how fast the place goes into lockdown. Better yet, anonymously mail one of the images to your mom with a note reading "you're next" and see if she calls all excited over her invitation to go culture-jamming.
Psycho who hates women or activist stickin' it to the Man? We'd really love to hear your thoughts on this one.
