Happy holidays and thanks for another great year

Posted on December 20th, 2010

In truth, The Lirette's not as mean as he'd seem
(Though he's been known to out-grump an angry Zubzeem).
He's cantankerous, yes, and a little malign,
Misanthropic, vexatious even cruel by design.
Yet steadfast and righteous like no other man!
And a good friend to have when you're blind drunk in Cannes.
I tell you now true, though it's to his chagrin:
His heart's thrice the size of the chest it's within.
So on his behalf (and on my behalf, too),
I thank you for reading and wish Joy to you.
