This is our second installment in a series apparently dedicated to destroying the legacy of Albert Einstein, a man who inspired generations and rocked a truly magnificent Jewfro.
The CERN experiment is a pretty big deal, but only to people with a passion for science. I don't see it having the same crossover appeal as Copernicus' heliocentric cosmology or Darwin's On The Origin Of The Species (collectively known as "The One-Two Punch That Murdered God").
Case in point: Fermilab first recorded neutrinos travelling faster than the speed of light four years ago and nobody cared. That was the same year Britney Spears shaved her head, by the way. I'm guessing you heard about that one.
Just to recap: a pop star's haircut is more newsworthy than a discovery that changes everything we know about our universe.
