I can't pinpoint the exact moment Jamie and I became the Go To guys for every birthday, farewell, wedding, baby and special occasion too obscure to mention (Happy Bandaranaike Day, Sri Lanka!), but I suspect it had a lot to do with how seriously we take those bloody cards.

It's one thing to Photoshop a co-worker's face onto Fabio's body. It is something else entirely to interview the co-worker's co-workers for personal tidbits that fuel a Petrarchan sonnet referencing the summer their Ukrainian folk dancing troupe toured the Commonwealth (Happy Dominion Day, New Zealand!).

I can't think of a decent segue to save my life, but I'd like to extend a warm, Words & Pictures welcome to all our new readers: Hi Donald.

Oh, and the several thousand other people from every corner of the planet who swung by after our little site got mentioned in the trades. Hi to you, too. ;-)

And, seriously, Happy Bandaranaike & Dominion Days.

What would an advertising site be without the fine print? Here goes: Any reference to actual brands on this site is for satirical purposes only and is in no way endorsed by their parent companies
or the agencies that represent them. Neither is any harm intended towards the aforementioned brands, companies and agencies. Quite the contrary — we may well come begging for a job one day.
And really, wouldn't you rather sue Adbusters?
