Everyone who cares about advertising owed a debt of thanks last week three, to be specific. First, thanks to the One Club for being the first award show to step up and prioritize integrity over entry fees. Second, backhanded thanks to DDB Brasil for being the straw that broke the camel's back: your shameless abuse of a broken system made it impossible to continue turning a blind eye to what we all knew was going on. Nice job, hacks!

Our third and biggest thank you goes to Matt Morin, the blogger who actually convinced the One Club to institute the new policy. That's pretty awesome, to my way of thinking.
