I really am
Most people who know me now would be shocked to learn this, but I was crushingly shy as a child. My mother often said she had to bribe other children with popsicles to play with me. It probably didn't help that we moved around so much, I'd gone to ten schools by the time I finished grade eight.
I eventually came out of my shell and I think it's fair to say I'm rather well-liked, but the word "freak" continues to pop up from time to time and, in my heart of hearts, this song is playing on a loop.
And now, in honour of the discovery of Gliese 581 c, I give you the stars...
